I wish...the front end got tweaked by some douche speeding down a hill back in like Sept-08. Bent the frame rails so it was totaled...he had no damage to his POS Accord. Replaced it with a A6 Avant since we bought a house and need the hauling capacity for renovations. Miss the B5 terribly but the TT and the A6 are workable substitutes. I made more money on the part out than I paid for the mods. �

TT is really nice...we call it the Jelly Bean since it is Papaya Orange. I hope to drive it two years then retire it to weekend-only duty. It is as tight a fit as I remember it being when I got into it back in 2000 at the Philly Auto show.

Yeah man ... I see new locations in everyones sigs

I am down in the DC area now and I have been in the real world for two years.

I see FJ still has his elise. A buddy of mine got an 05 chrome orange elise and it is crazy fun to drive (after you make your way into the car).

How is the TT ... do you still have the b5?

I still can't help but stop and stare at any w8 I see. I was seriously considering selling mine and getting a 6speed avant that was for sale around the corner but my "better" judgement (wallet) told me not to.

Best part about selling the w8 ... I had 4 months left on my inspection. When I went into the subaru dealership to pick up my plates I asked if they had sold my car ... they turned from happy to more annoyed

Apparently they went to get the car inspected and came out with a bill for 3k so they wholesaled the car ... could have been me

I struggled not to laugh, but they could see me smile and I quickly left

Courtesy of Mike from Agony Tattoo in Pelham, NH. 100% reccomend this guy to ANYONE. The atmosphere was amazing, he had a lot of jokes and made a lot of laughs. I went into getting the tattoo done a little nervous and scared due to the fact the kid that went before me passed out while getting his back done. I got my back done in a total of 45 minutes with a 10 minute smoke and stretch break in between the outline and the filling/shading. The piece isn't 100% finished yet. I still have some longitude and latitude points that are going around the outside (one on north, east, south, and west).

Above north will be coordinates for my first home, beside east will be my grandparents grave site for my mothers side, under south will eventually be my parents, and along side of west will be my grandparents and uncles (whom I never met and was named after) grave site. So after about 4 months of planning and numerous sketching this is the compass that the points will go around.

finished outline/cleaned up outline and no the tattoo isn't deformed or anything - all the lines are straight and circles are round.

right after the piece was finished all filling done and shading finished - girlfriend forgot to get a picture of Mike doing the shading:? (still bloody) and yes I did have the tattoo "set" in honor of it being my first piece!

Day 1 - 24hrs after the work. The girlfriend took this one because she didn't like the blood and redness in the other pictures haha.

Forgot to mention that in the center circle you see an ocean wave like pattern and that stands for how life has it's ups, downs, and inbetweens. In the shading (where it goes from skin to black ink in a gradient) each gradient stands for a significant obstacle that I've had to go through or helped some one very close to me go through.

This is my first piece but it certainly won't be my last. I have some other stuff that needs some drawing.

Oh p.s I know I'm skinny as hell... the first thing Mike said to me was to go eat a box of mac and cheese haha. I'll post up some more pictures when I'm done putting A&D on it which will be on monday. Then I'll post pictures of it being fully healed and done peeling.

Glad to see people are still around these boards and everyone is doing well.

Maybe I should start with this ...

Hi my name is Jeff and I have been W8 free for 10 months ...

I replaced the 1/2 shafts, sent the ECU out to have the WETT chip resoldered on (who knew it would desolder itself while I was driving), replaced tires, brake pads and rotors, finally put on SS brake lines and then I started to have crazy electrical issues.

Finally the car wouldn't start again ... The sunroof drains clogged and filled the backseat up with gallons of water and it cost me clost to 1k to get everything fixed. I figured after that it would be the TC and it was time to move on.

I just got married and I have had a '96 miata that I have been auto-xing for about 2 years, so when I picked the car up I drove it from the shop directly to the subaru dealership and picked up a 2.5i 6MT outback. I figured I had my weekend fun car already, I needed something to haul my dog/bikes/skis ect. in.

Cars been great to me and the '96 miata is a blast to play around with.

Mods so far include:
550/375 lb springs with koni sports lowered about 1.5"
1 1/8" hollow front sway bar
no rear sway bar
Spec Miata cat-back exhaust - eventually I will get a complete header back exhaust
Gutted interior
6-pt harness with a fiberglass FIA seat
real roll bar - maybe door bars in my future
I still am stuck on my Axxis Ultimates - now PBR ULT's
SS brake lines

I will be cutting the fenders to make room for the 13x8" rims with 225/50 Hoosier A6's this weekend.

Rims are 19x8.5 also, so the stretch isn't to heavy...

They are a 35 series, all around... 225/35... I'm not to worried about hitting something, mainly because I'm anal as hell when I drive her, LOL! It is something to worry about, yes, but you just gotta be cautious... As for bending the rim, if you hit something deep enough or hard enough to bend your rim, then you shouldn't be driving with rims/tires like that (that's just my personal opinion)...
