Lost my lower grills and some of the plastic they mount to yesterday. Didn't see it until this morning. Must have lost them on those metal plates they put in the construction zones. They were laid hazardously all over the road I was on. Guess the road crews assume everyone has suvs.

No kidding about the karma!
Think I might just leave them off until I move. They take too much of a beating around here. Not to mention I don't need the expense right now. |

You need to drive through NYC sometime...
I've lost those lower grills 3 times already... this time I've tie wrapped the suckers on to make sure they stay there. Plus I've lost 3 wheels/tires along with the belly pan cover. And I'm not quite that low!
Good luck in finding your replacements. |

You're right about NYC roads! A couple of years back I punctured the transmission pan on the corner of a construction plate. The company doing the work covered evrything though. _________________ Life is too important to be taken seriously.

I found a Mass DOT site - and talked to a person about a HUGE hole last year that killed some wheels. They will put you in touch with a contractor if you have an issue in a construction zone.

I found it in there some where. _________________ I'd Rather be in Key West.

Actually the foreman was on-site and took care of everything.
He gave me his card and said to send copies of all the bills - towing, rental, repair etc. All was covered.
They were lucky - had the cut gone an inch higher it would have ripped the guts out of the transmission instead of just puncturing the pan. _________________ Life is too important to be taken seriously.
