I want to first thank moderators and everyone for choosing my car for this month's oneB5. Without the support of this community I would not have been able to make my Passat the way it is.

My interest for cars grew as I began college. My previous car I had was a Pathfinder and it was a great car. However, it was poor on fuel economy and was hurting my pocket. ÊAs I looked for a vehicle to replace my Pathfinder, ÊI wanted a sedan but something different. My friend Danny already being a VW enthusiast made me interested in the community. I wanted to be part of the community, however I had no idea which car I wanted to get. I looked at MKV Jettas and GTIs but I was never too fond of the styling. The B6 Passat was my next option; however something inside of me just didn't sit right. When I first laid eyes on the White Passat at the dealer, I knew I had to get it.

After reading the forums and seeing other Passat owners mod their cars, I wanted to do the same. I wanted my car to be unique, different on the road, I wanted it to be my own. ÊAfter my first oil change, I got the Passat chipped. ÊI was amazed by the difference in performance. Now being bitten by the mod bug nothing could stop me.

Slowly but surely I continued modding the Passat, from suspension to ICE to various small goodies. I had an idea in my mind what I wanted my car to look like, however I always felt that I was steps away from a finished product. I love the way my car looks and performs, however I feel there is still much to be done to make it perfect.

I want to thank everyone that supported me with my modifications decisions. I want to especially thank my girlfriend Bincy, all you guys that make Highpoint so great, the EuroConnection boys, ycharlies, speedy, kingsofnyc, and djtunez.
