First, I just want to Thank All of you for being chosen to represent B5one. My Occupation minimizes the amount of time that I can spend getting to know everyone on this forum. This is By Far the Best Forum that I visit. There is a genuine sense of community and a level of respect that is present which is missing in other forums. So Again, Thank you and I appreciate all of the People and Cars that truly make this Forum Special.

It all began when my 1987 Toyota 4-runner finally lost its last leg and I needed another vehicle to replace it. I started my search in Dec. 2000 for a Sedan that would both fit my needs and my budget. I started looking on Autotrader.com because I could only afford a used car at the time. I have decided that I wanted a Volkswagen because I've always liked their looks and that Fahrvergnugen. I test drove a Jetta 1.8t, liked it but was just a little small. Then I found a Lady in Oceanside, California that was selling her 1998 Candy White GLS and decided to pursue it. After driving it and getting a feel for the size, I immediately found myself bonded to this car. I ended purchasing it Jan. of 2001.

A few months later I had an opportunity to work for Automotive Performance Systems (Better Known as Neuspeed) in their Sales Department. I was in Tuner Bliss to be in a place that specialized in Audi and VW tuning. Their Blue Lagoon B5 gave me a vision of what the Potential of a PASSAT had. While working under Mr. N (Bill Neumann) my appreciation for the VW brand grew. Seeing VW/Audi's well engineered cars being pushed to the limit at the right hands stirred up the Car Fanatic in me. To this day I have a deep respect for the VW brand.

My Term ended at APS when they had a restructure in the company. At the same time I was engaged to a Lady that not only swept my feet, but swept me to relocate to the Beautiful State of Maine. I've been here since the summer of 2002. I currently work for the largest VW dealership in Maine (Clair VW). I'm blessed everyday. I thank GOD everyday for his amazing grace and I wouldn't be who I am today without him. I look forward to meeting you all when the next GTG comes. I feel that B5one has inspired me and given my B5 a place to belong. Thanks again to B Dizzle Fizzle and the Contributors for choosing me.
