Audisnawb (Cory)
Wow! What an Honor. Any of you who may not know me, I'm Cory (Audisnawb). I have been with this great community of car enthusiasts since July of 2005. I have always loved German carsÉ especially Audis, VW's, and (sorry) BMW's. My passion for cars has been with me since I could talk. I remember being young, 6 or 7 at Hampton Beach in the summer, being able to tell all the cars that went byÉ weather it was a Ford or a Ferrari. My car I currently drive is a 1999.5 Audi A4. It's equipped the with 2.8 liter engine. It also has Audi's AWD system (Quattro). I bought the car back in August of 2003 bone stock. From the day I bought the car, I was on the Audi boards, posting like crazy. The very first thing I got for my car was a Kamei badgeless grille. Then I started seeing other people's cars and modded like crazy. I do have to say though; my mod bug has officially worn off for now. I haven't been very interested in doing anything to my car lately, although, my love for the car remains the same! It just comes to a point where you have to throw in the rag and say "I'm done!" Although, most car enthusiasts would frown upon that (most thing there is no ending to modifying a car! Ha-ha)
All major maintenance has been completed on my car up to date by Status Auto Service of Londonderry & Klaus Euromotive of Derry. Other little things have been done by myself with the help of members from B5one (Thank You Mike Egan - NH92X for your help and hospitality and to any others who have helped with my car in person!) A HUGE thank you to EVERYONE who participates on B5one with their knowledge on our cars! Without you, this place wouldn't be what it is and we would all be driving cars with BIG problems!
Mods The current Mileage on my car is 131,813 miles. While I drive the sluggish 6 cylinder 2.8 model (as appose to the tuner friendly 1.8t), I decided to go with exterior modifications only with my car. A PES Supercharger is just not a practical modification to an everyday young driver with a price tag of just under $5,000. My current modifications include:
B5one is by far the very best car community out there. Notice I call it a community or family. For those of you aren't familiar with the UNITE program, Bryan started it back when my girlfriend Vikki (lovinmyb5.5) got diagnosed with cancer. This is really what made this place extra special, not just for Vikki and I, but for everyone on here as well. Everyone pulled together like I have never seen friends do. So I did want to say a very well deserved continuing "Thank You" to everyone who has helped out with that program! It now helps out other members in need and helps fund this wonderful website. It's exciting to know of a place on the internet that's so real, so informative and so full of the best people out there! Thanks again for my selection of oneB5 of October! God Bless
