Lottie@ModBargains (Lottie)
I would like to firstly thank the moderators of B5one for electing me November's oneB5. I addition I would like to especially thanks B5one's President Bryan Falchuk for such a warm welcome to the B5one community. I am greatly honored to share this spot with so many other gorgeous B5s.
Many of you may recognize me from PassatWorld as the ModBargains sponsor and now also as sponsor of B5one. Though I have been with ModBargains for over two years now my modding days began well before I began working with the ModBargains team. This car is the only car I have owned to date and I have been modding it since the beginning, though my modding fever almost came to an abrupt end last May after I was involved in an accident which rendered my car almost totaled. It was after that experience that I really understood how safe incredibly safe German cars are as I was hit from the side at 65 mph and walked away from the accident with nothing more than a seatbelt shoulder graze. My faithful Passat absorbed the impact but it left both driver's side doors complete inoperable and overall it looked terrible. Luckily none of my mods (with the exception of my chrome handles, yet to be replaced) were sacrificed. Today you would not be able to tell because the local repair shop repaired it perfectly.
Basically this car has inspired my interest in the aftermarket world and it all started by me declaring the wheels on my 01.5 bone-stock Passat to be "too small" and the wheel gap "too big". I soon after set out on a mission to lower the car and elected the Eibach Pro-System to give it a little less ground clearance bit more style and handling. At that time I also decided to purchase a set of, the now discontinued, Mille Miglia Uno wheels. The wheels and drop looked excellent but I wanted more and was not completely satisfied and it was exactly that craving that led me to find the ClubB5 (PassatWorld) community. After the initial cosmetic changes I had made I chose to add some engine modifications picking up an APR 91-octane chip and shiny new Forge 007P DV. Soon after I was welcomed into the Passat of the Month from PassatWorld caused my innate modding instinct to grow exponentially.
Since then I have continued to add major and minor modifications but I should mention that I have received a little bit extra of negative attention which has caused me to slow down my modding as of late. This is due to the fact I tend to receive somewhat Ônegative' attention from local police officers for having such an unordinary-styled but even that extra unwanted attention is worth the positive consideration and praise I have received from other enthusiasts for my modding efforts.
Finally, I would like to again thank the B5one community for this honor and every individual (there have been many of you) who have inspired and helped me along my way. The aftermarket world is filled with so many helpful, kind, and fun individuals I am greatly honored to be a part of it. Mods Exterior:
