Treffen der Hamster 6 - Registration
Treffen der Hamster 6 is B5one's annual gathering for members from Volkswagen & Audi clubs in New England. Each year this event has grown and 2008 will be our sixth year! We started out as just a small group of 18 enthusiasts back in 2003 and last year our event grew to just over 200 vehicles entered into our show event along with over 250 total attendees!
Treffen der Hamster is all about community. As a gathering for VW, Audi and other European car enthusiasts, we get together, swap stories, admire each others cars, and generally just sort of mill about. This year we are also including a Show & Shine event, as well as a raffle to raise money for B5one's Vikki Lowe Memorial UNITE fund, a charity effort of B5one named for a member we lost to cancer in 2007. This year, TDH6's proceeds will go to help fight Scleroderma, a terrible disease that is hitting close to home for one of our members. You can learn more here
If you were at TDH4 or TDH5, you will be blown away by TDH6...I know we said this last year, too, but it's going to be EVEN BIGGER this year given what we're already getting together. We'll have some amazing items in the raffle again this year, and Volkswagen will be bringing something really amazing with them AGAIN that very few people get to see in person AGAIN.

Food will be available from vendors on site, and is not included in the gate fee.
Attendance
With 120 pre-registrations, and about 140 additional people registering at the gate, this was a big year. We raised over $2,000 after paying all of the event costs, which is over 10% more than last year. Thank you to everyone who made it out and helped support our charity work

Rules of the day
By registering, you agree to our rules meant to keep the event fun, safe and legal
- No alcohol or coolers - no exceptions
- No dangerous driving on or around the venue, such as donuts and burnouts - we will be recording everyone's plates, and reporting any dangerous drivers to the police
- No weapons
- Be respectful of other attendees
If the event managers find that you are violating any of these rules, you will be asked to leave the event, and will forfeit any prizes or swag you've been given.
Due to behavior of some people in 2006, the police will be making periodic drive-bys.

*We ask that people act responsibly, and not engage in dangerous driving behavior at the event. To hold the event safely this year, we are recording all license plates, and will report anyone engaging in this behavior to the local police.
